The Organisation

The ADC FORUM (ADC) was founded in 1996 as the Australian Davos Connection. The organisation is a not-for-profit organisation. The organisation's mission is to bring business, entrepreneurs, government, academia and the wider community together to share perspectives, experiences, insights and to gain greater understanding about the world. This is done through a range of Australian and international initiatives. The aim of this process is to find the best solutions and better outcomes to the many challenges facing the individual, business, government and world. Better decision making becomes a major goal. As part of this mission the ADC shares these insights among its members and the wider community in order to pay its role in achieving the best outcomes for a better world. The ADC has access to leading experts on a huge number of diverse and critical issues and continues to facilitate research and focus on facilitating development across a wide range of initiatives.

 

The Role

The role of the General Manager, ADC Futures, is a high profile and challenging opportunity for an accomplished, rigorous and visionary individual, to work with the Board, the CEO, a small competent team, the ADC members, ADC Advisory Council and ADC Faculty to help shape tomorrow. The GM, ADC Futures, will report to the CEO.


The Candidate Profile

Candidates will have a track record as an outstanding manager and will bring significant initiative and demonstrate knowledge of broad economic, geopolitical, social and corporate issues, and have the following credentials:

  • proven people leadership capability
  • commercially minded and strategic
  • demonstrated skill in building effective relationships with key stakeholders
  • ability to work closely with government
  • sales and marketing competence
