Marketing has a wonderful ability to increase awareness, educate and assist people in finding the right health practitioner for them. However, as a health practitioner it can be challenging finding the time and resources to do even the marketing basics. Marketing for Health Practitioners (MFHP) is dedicated to making marketing accessible to all health practitioners and practices so they can increase their patients, grow their practice and help more people. MFHP offers three products/services The Marketing Essentials Program which is a 16 week activity based program incorporating an online course and coaching, Marketing Essentials Online Course and Website Design Package. All created specifically for health practitioners who are based in Australia, Canada, USA and UK.  

 

ABOUT THE ROLE

The purpose of the Business Development Manager is to convert warm leads into sales selling the Program, Online Course and Website Design Package. Its an exciting opportunity for an experienced salesperson to get involved in a highly scalable startup and play a critical role in the success of the business. This is a home-based casual role and entirely commissioned based with huge potential for the hours of the role and income to increase. This role suits someone who gets a real kick out of closing the sale but also loves using their sales skills to make a positive difference in peoples lives. As a number of leads are based in the USA and UK some evening work will be required.

 

DURATION: Ongoing casual role  

LOCATION: Home-based with some in person / zoom meetings 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contacting warm leads (health practitioners) to establish rapport and book in a 15 minute call to determine if they are a fit
  • Move fits to a 45 minute Zoom call with the objective of closing the sale
  • Working within the MFHP sales process and system while also providing advice and recommendations on how to enhance this process to further increase conversion rates and sales
  • Updating / maintaining customer relationship management system

 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors degree in business, marketing or related field
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
  • Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with potential customers
  • Experiencing using customer relationship management systems
  • Ability to balance effective negotiation and persuasion with creating a warm, friendly, non-salesy experience for prospective customers
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google docs

 

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE 

  • Sales experience within private healthcare
  • Experience using Infusionsoft
