Salary: $72,664 + Super
Full-time position; Maximum Term to 30 June 2021

Location: Based in Darwin or Alice Springs

About the Opportunity
The Workforce Support Coordinator Allied Health will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Health Workforce Branch, in particular the Allied Health Team. This role is the first point of contact for allied health stakeholders and coordinates support for allied health service providers to deliver outreach health services to approximately 80 remote communities across the Northern Territory. The Workforce Support Coordinator will also provide administrative support to allied health workforce programs including recruitment and retention of the Northern Territorys allied health workforce.

NT PHN contracts a range of service providers and engages with a broad range of program stakeholders. The mix of activities in the portfolio may change from time to time in response to community needs and program or funding changes. 

About You
As the successful candidate, you will be a passionate and engaging administrator with an interest and experience in allied health care and outcomes. You will have:

  • Highly experienced in administration, financial and budgeting processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate complex travel and logistics processes.
  • Demonstrated experience in reporting with a track-record of meeting timelines with limited supervision. 
  • High level IT skills with emphasis on MS Excel, SharePoint and Access. 
  • Proven effectiveness as a collaborative and high performing team member with the ability to contribute in a fast paced and changing environment. 
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively/respectfully with a wide range of internal and external clients, partners and stakeholders in an environment requiring cultural safety. 
  • Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to work across multiple tasks daily
  • Sound problem solving skills with the ability to navigate high pressure and time-sensitive issues
