The successful applicant will report directly to the Director and will be responsible for a range of activities across Engineering Products Sales & Marketing. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your technical career while working within a successful sales team in the engineering industry, the chosen candidate will be nurtured for bigger and better things.
The key purpose of this role is to be the official point of contact for current and potential customers
Give support in the development and implementation of the sales strategy and objectives in the academic & commercial market.
Management of relationships with customers
Work with Marketing Department to drive the development and delivery of new products and services to meet customers and improve customer satisfaction
Give support in the contract elaboration, negotiation and implementation
Internal coordination with Engineering and Services Department to ensure correct project and contract implementation
To provide support for technical and commercial enquiries
Raise sales quotations
Opportunity to participate at a strategic level
Responsible for sales target
Achieve sales target assigned in line with the sales growth plan
Product demonstrations and training
As you will be required to engage and converse effectively with engineers it is essential that you have an engineering degree or undertaking undergraduate degree in any of the disciplines Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or Statistics
Previous customer service or sales experience
Knowledge of Mathematical and Engineering software such as Mathematica, Maple or MATLAB
You must be extremely positive and have a great work ethic.
