We specialise in transportable building, so we need a Carpenter with vanity experience who loves thinking outside the box and impressing clients.

Due to business expansion, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced and fully qualified Carpenter. The Role will involve working on multi-site locations, but mainly within the Perth area.
Reporting to the Supervisor, the candidate will be responsible to examine blueprints and drawings, determining and estimating project materials and requirements, constructing and repairing building structures and frameworks, and demolishing metal and wooden structures and fixtures. From time to time you may also work on large structures such as civil engineering projects.
Duties and responsibilities:
Understand clients or managements requirements and plan the work to be carried out. Create mock-ups for approval if required.
Following production drawings to craft high quality carpentry products including, doors, paneling, gates, panels and screens.
Measure, cut, assemble or shape material
Construct and install structures and fixtures such as walls, floors, doorframes, skirting etc.
Demolition of ceilings and walls
Inspect and replace damaged framework and structures,
Erect, level, and install building framework with the aid of rigging hardware and cranes
Correct usage of hand and power tools
Compliance with QA/QC and OHS practices
When required, direct and supervise contractor and other labourers work to ensure OHS practices
5 years experience in Carpentry
Trade Certificate (Minimum Certificate 3 in Carpentry)
Construction Induction Safety Certificate (White Card)
Ability to communicate technically
Understand and read work from detailed drawings
Ability to work autonomously
Attention to details and perform work to a high standard
Have their own tools and transport
Ability to respond under pressure and adjust to demand.
Outstanding multitasking capability and willingness to work in a highly demanding position.
Excellent interpersonal skills and great ability to work as part of a team.
