This is an outstanding opportunity for an aspiring Project Manager or experienced Project / Contracts Administrator, Quantity Surveyor or Construction Management Graduate to be influential in full new build construction. The Jnr Project Manager will work closely with building designers to estimate build costs, coordinate statutory approvals, prepare project files, issue purchase orders and coordinate the construction delivery process. Candidates with sufficient site knowledge and expertise will also be influential in planning and mobilizing site activities, issuing work instructions and driving efficiency in project delivery.
As the Jnr Project Manager / Contracts Administrator / Estimator you will interact with diverse trades and suppliers, reviewing rates and quotes and verifying submitted progress claims and invoices against documentation and work completed. You will also manage project financials, project status and progress reporting and checking project budgets against committed costs and costs to complete. Your ability to liaise with clients, designers, suppliers, trades, external stakeholders, accounts personnel and executive management to facilitate accurate and timely flow and dissemination of information from pre-contract through the construction phase to completion, will set you apart.
We are seeking that special someone with initiative, perception and ingenuity who can integrate into a Well-Oiled busy small team environment and have the capacity to handle evolving activities. You will get to manage dynamic activities as new projects, quotations, contracts, purchase orders, approvals, invoices and work instructions come on line. Your confidence and ability to clarify requirements, plan and prioritize, and take responsibility for designated project and contract administration tasks as a supportive team player, will be your keys to success.
