Reception/Admin Assistant

Part-time or full time role, Hours negotiable for the right candidate, Entry level position.

We are seeking an administrative assistant to join our Roma legal team on a part-time basis. The appropriate candidate will manage our office reception and form part of our experienced administrative support team.

The Role
The duties are varied and will include:

  • Digital dictation;
  • Preparing correspondence to courts, clients, agents, banks and other solicitors;
  • Liaising with clients, other parties and courts;
  • Preparation of documents with respect to the various areas of practice;
  • Preparing invoices using Affinity practice management software;
  • Opening files including conflict checking procedures;
  • Diary and time limit management;
  • Time entries;
  • Filing;
  • Reception duties;
  • Banking and Mail;
  • General office and secretarial duties.

This role is the first point of contact for clients and so the successful applicant will be a person with excellent communication skills who presents professionally. The applicant would be required to uphold the values of the firm with an absolute respect for confidentiality.

The nature of the role requires management of a number of responsibilities. Attention to detail and a high standard of organisational skill is essential.

While managing reception duties, the applicant will be required to provide administrative support to our greater legal team. As such, a demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office systems will be an advantage.
