Water Tank Installers (Full Time and Casual)

Aquaflo Irrigation is a family-run business that specialises in irrigation, water tanks, and pumps. Providing water management services to the residential, rural, and commercial sectors in both ACT and South-East NSW.

We are the Exclusive Dealer/ Installer for Pioneer Water Tanks and are seeking highly motivated Tank Installers to join our growing team. Currently we are recruiting a full time supervisor, and both full time and casual installers.

You will be responsible for the installation, service, and maintenance of water storage tanks for residential, commercial, and rural projects, as well as some general factory duties when not on site.

 

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Ability to service, maintain and construct water storage tanks to company and customer specifications
  • Perform duties in accordance with relevant SWMS, Policies and Procedures
  • Assist in the preparation for mobilisation to site
  • Perform service and warranty work on existing rainwater tanks
  • Perform quality inspections of completed products
  • Build solid working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, such as builders, supervisors, and retail customers
  • Maintain and promote confidence in Pioneer Water Tanks products and integrity
  • Help promote Aquaflo Irrigation's additional services
  • Ensure compliance with relevant WHS legislation

 

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have experience in tank installation or construction, and possess the following:

  • Previous experience in construction site work including remote work which would include prolonged days away from home
  • Ability to withstand frequent and prolonged manual handling including handling heavy loads and performing physical tasks in sometimes difficult conditions
  • Ability to take and pass a drug and alcohol screen and pre-employment medical as required
  • Police Check / Clearance (Australia-wide)
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to read, interpret and follow instructions
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and autonomously
  • First Aid Certificate
  • White Card and Asbestos Awareness
  • Tickets - Working at heights, Confined spaces, EWP, Forklift would be desirable but not essential
  • Manual Car drivers license is a must, HR license would be desirable

 

Please note this position requires travel throughout South-East NSW, which may include overnight stays.
