Apunipima is seeking an experienced Senior Finance Officer Manager to provide comprehensive and effective finance services to employees and managers as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering comprehensive primary health care services consistent with the Apunipima Way and Model of Care, to maximise health outcomes for the people of Cape York.
The successful candidate will have:
Certificate IV or Diploma in Financial Accounting or willingness to undertake
Demonstrated experience in maintenance and management of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable/Bookkeeping, and Payroll (minimum 5 years)
Exposure and experience in financial software /ERP, preferably EPICOR and Humanforce (minimum 2 years preferred)
Demonstrated experience in processing accounts and invoices
Demonstrated high level experience in the use of software applications, including Microsoft Office Suites (specifically Excel), finance and payroll systems
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with the customer base including community
The ability to work as a team member and contribute to a supportive work environment
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, and diversity of circumstances, particularly with respect to the people of Cape York.
