We are currently looking for an experienced and proactive site-based Property Maintenance Assistant to coordinate and support the maintenance and defects schedule for several of our key projects.
This role is highly autonomous and will include customer service, coordination of trades/sub-contractors and reporting. We are ideally looking for a candidate with a trade background and exposure to residential, commercial/ industrial construction projects.
To be successful in the role you will possess;
Trade/construction background with a technical mindset to troubleshoot issues as they arise
A drive to meet deadlines as well as a pride in safe, high quality and professional work
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to maintain tenant relations via prompt and courteous responses to clients/customers
Ability to ensure and maintain overall quality assurance whilst ensuring building compliance as per Australian Standards and Building Code etc
Self-driven, professional attitude, highly organised with the ability to multitask and work under pressure.
A high standard of accurate record keeping as well as the ability to forecast and oversee the coordination of all trades required for reworks and repairs.
Computer skills; Word, Outlook and Excel
Current drivers licence and construction white card
