To drive this strategy and commitment, in what can be high risk environments, we have aligned our business model to have a whole of business view creating the rare opportunity to join our Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) team in newly created Regional HSE Manager roles.
These roles will be critical to the successful implementation of HSE initiatives and procedures that continually progress our safety culture and performance across various transport depots within our Global Express division as well as our country agents.
Indirectly and through the provision of practical HSE advice and support, you will partner with line management and key stakeholders to drive continual improvement and visibility to safety, ensuring all risk is appropriately identified and managed.

Key accountabilities and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Take the lead in coaching and mentoring your stakeholder group on HSE strategies and activities that allow and encourage a safety obsessed culture.
Be accountable for driving through HSE governance processes including, HSE audits, incident investigation, management reviews and RTW activities
Identify and implement HSE training and communication programs that clearly articulate Group HSE information and safety expectation
Support organisational change through comprehensive risk management programs as well as ensuring legacy risk management programs are updated and activated where required.
The ideal candidate
To be successful you will have demonstrable experience in a similar role, ideally with multi-site responsibilities, coupled with exemplary knowledge of HSE legislative and compliance requirements. A background in supply chain, logistics, manufacturing or industrial environments would be highly regarded.
With a strong stakeholder management focus the ability to influence and engage is essential to achieve Group HSE Strategy and foster strong working relationships.
