FABAL now has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Marketing Manager to join our team and work in a diverse industry with our collection of wine, artisan chocolate and luxury skin care products.
The successful applicant will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies which will extend the retail brands owned by the Group beyond our immediate customer base. We are looking for an enthusiastic, well organised and a pro-active marketing specialist who will work across both our corporate and retail brands and be responsible for developing traditional marketing, digital marketing and PR strategies that will drive growth and increase brand awareness.
Working directly with the CEO and executive management committee (EMC), you will have strong support to guide the marketing strategy to a broad range of target markets.

Duties & Responsibilities
Wine marketing and implementation for the Vineyard Road brand;
Food and Agri-tourism marketing and development for the Barossa Valley Chocolate Company and Fleurieu Chocolate Company;
Food and Agri-tourism marketing and development for the SA operations of Vasse Virgin;
Corporate brand development for FABAL;
Development and implement a Wine Club with the EMC;
Manage with EMC the Wine Club;
Accountable for setting, delivering, and driving the business objectives for the portfolio of retail brands by developing three to five-year strategic plans for implementation;
Responsible for executing the nominated brand marketing plans ensuring they are underpinned by actionable insights and aligned to category and business strategy;
Lead the development of communications e.g. brand and promotional campaigns, in-store activation, trade promotional materials, digital advertising, sponsorship, mobile, social media, PR, event, and tactical promotions;
Experience & Skills
Tertiary qualification in marketing/communications (wine as a strong preference);
Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role;
Experience in wine and Agri-tourism;
Exceptional attention to detail;
Ability to undertake digital marketing and campaign analysis;
Ability to connect and engage with influencers for the purpose of content creation and community engagement;
Ability to deliver a consistent brand look and feel, ensuring all content is in line with brand guidelines;
Ability to work with sales and distribution platforms to implement sales objectives;
Ability to prioritise, multitask and meet changing deadlines and work well under pressure;
