Dual role: Senior advisor to clients and, transitioning to, leading an accounting team of 7-8 staff within 12 months.
Leadership: Ultimately you will run a weekly team meeting to ensure work is evenly allocated according to competency. Responsible for delivery of a team revenue budget and ensuring work is delivered on time.
Client focus: Manage a portfolio of business clients and high net wealth individuals, advising on both commercial and taxation arrangements and guiding their decision making.
Financial focus: Identify new work opportunities via the expanded service offering. You will be allocated an achievable new business revenue target to be obtained from existing or new clients.
People focus: You will be responsible for mentoring junior staff and overseeing their training and professional development through delivery of a structured training program within our HR framework.
What you will need to succeed
Bachelors degree in relevant field (business, commerce, accounting)
CPA or CA and 5 10 years relevant experience
Strong technical accounting and taxation skills
Able to provide advice to clients across a broad and complex range of taxation issues
Be highly competent with Xero including Xero payroll and fixed assets
Participate, lead or contribute to internal training, training sessions and team meetings
