The Executive Assistant will provide high-level executive and administrative support to the Managing Director and liaise with the Senior Management team in this critical role. The position is located in Kununurra, however frequent travel throughout Western Australia is an essential part of this role. The Group has offices in Kununurra, Broome, Karratha, and Perth.
Diary management and the review and actioning of incoming emails and other correspondence.
Acting as the conduit between the MD and staff members, key clients, government departments and other stakeholders.
Organisation of meetings, travel and other bookings.
Drafting of correspondence, submissions, reports, spreadsheets and presentations.
Management of outstanding action items, key dates, and to do lists.
Proof-reading, editing, and document preparation and collation.
Maintaining efficient systems and procedures to support the MD and other functions within the businesses
Conducting initial research and briefing the MD on opportunities, tenders, and staff related issues.
Key involvement with insurance, HR documentation and contract management.
Travelling with the MD as required.
Other ad hoc projects and tasks as required.
Proven diplomacy, sensitivity, discretion and confidentiality is paramount in this role.
Skills / Qualifications Required:
Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to prepare professional documents and reports with a high degree of accuracy.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Demonstrated initiative and judgement, as well as being highly self-motivated and reliable.
Positive and professional work ethic and a proactive ability to resolve matters quickly and efficiently.
Excellent computer skills including proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and the ability to adapt to a range of software packages.
Ability to forward plan, prioritise and multi-task in a busy and ever-changing work environment.
Ability to work autonomously with minimal direction, as well as work as a collaborative team member.
A willingness to develop and hone your skills.
