Due to growth and expansion, we have an opportunity for a part-time Bookkeeper & Office Support to join our team.  

About the role:

You will be working along side the business director. The role calls you to work 2 -3 days a month with a view to extend, the days and times are flexible and can be discussed with the successful applicant. 

Your duties will include:

  • Accounts payable and account receivable. 
  • Processing payroll. 
  • Accounts related administration. 
  • P&L and balance sheet reconciliations. 
  • Preparing BAS, superannuation details and PAYG compliance. 
  • Reconciliations and banking. 
  • Data entry
  • Administration maintaining files and records in our system. 
  • Managing budgeting and forecasting. 
  • Staff on boarding and off boarding.
  • Liaising with internal staff. 

About you:

You are a well rounded process driven individual and possess the following:

  • 3 - 5 years experience as a bookkeeper or similar role. 
  • Proficient in Xero and Microsoft Office suite. 
  • Microsoft Business Central.
  • Self-motivated, comfortable and responsible in a position that grants autonomy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • An understanding of accounting practices and GST laws. 
  • Strong attention to detail. 
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Have an understanding and working knowledge of Purchase Orders systems. 
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is desired but not required. 
  • Must have full AU working rights.
