We are looking for a Warehouse Manager to assist an Assembly and Test Team based in Adelaide, Australia. The Teams initial focus will be on the assembly of air defence subsystems as part of the Australian Army LAND 19 Phase 7B project. In time the work undertaken by this role is anticipated to expand to support the delivery of different types of technologies for future Defence projects.
Warehouse receipting, issuing and conduct of inventory audits for the company stores.
The assembly of production build kits to drawing in support of manufacturing production order demands.
Monitor and coordinate all goods outwards/goods-in deliveries including PHST requirements and manual handling.
General warehouse maintenance duties to ensure stock holdings are organised and readily identifiable.
Maintenance of stores records/stock inventory/ goods inwards and outwards in the company ERP system.
Assist the Assembly and Test team with ERP production planning.
Monitoring and replenishment of consumables stock levels based on usage.
Monitor and coordinate all deliveries going to customers and coming from suppliers, ensuring all items are delivered.
Maintain the warehouse and suggest any improvement for efficient and effective receiving and distribution of parts.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Diploma Level or above qualification in Warehousing, Logistics, Supply Chain or Business
Forklift Licence - Desirable
Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager, minimum 5 years.
Demonstrated experience of manufacturing and production processes.
Experience in Defence Logistics and understanding of DEF-AUST 1000C requirements.
Experience in Defence database utilisation such as MILIS. (Desirable)
Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical engineering drawings and bill of materials.
Computer proficiency in using ERP systems (Infor LN, SAP, IFS) and Microsoft Office.
Understanding of quality control processes (ISO9001) and Work Health Safety (WHS) practices.
Must be an Australian citizen or able to obtain an Australian security clearance
