We are an established, forward-thinking and respected operator of hospitality venues across South East Queensland and have an excellent opportunity for an Operations Assistant to join our Brisbane head office team.
About the Role
You will be responsible for providing operational administrative assistance and support to the General Manager and Directors. This position is extremely diverse, fast paced and is ideal for someone who is self-motivated and looking to further their career in the hospitality industry.
You will have outstanding client service focus, strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to think outside the box.
Assist the leadership team generally to achieve venue business objectives
Assist the leadership team in business development tasks
Maintaining data integrity of Hallmark Group systems performing data entry and assisting in quality control of source data
Using various software including: Accounts Flow, FoundU, spreadsheets, databases, and google drive etc
Following up business directives to ensure timelines are met
Assisting with completing applications such as liquor licensing, TAB / Keno licensing etc
Develop positive relationships with the team
General office administration such as answering all telephone enquiries, general filing, responding to emails, responding to customer enquiries, monitor the completion of employee training and follow up
To be successful in this position, you will ideally have had previous experience within the hospitality industry and are looking for career progression. You will also have:
Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality
Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise to ensure all deadlines are met
Strong skills in MS Office Suite
Well-developed communication and people management skills
Demonstrated adaptability and embraces change
Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism
Excellent time management skills
Willing to help and support the General Manager and Directors with a positive can-do' attitude no matter how big or small the request is
Energy and enthusiasm, a solid work ethic and superb attention to detail are some of the things we're looking for in YOU.
