About the role
As a part of the Infrastructure Division, the role plays an important part in efficiently and effectively managing Councils Assets Department and associated consultants and contractors to deliver engineering planning, survey, design and investigations, engineering development assessments on civil infrastructure including roads, bridges, kerb and channel, paths, drains and associated infrastructure.
It is an exciting time to lead the Assets Department through the integration of capital works, maintenance and operations. We are finalising the Engineering Portal to convert asset management into a living process. This will be done with R and Shiny to create a data driven platform to lead our Asset strategies.
To be successful for this role you will require:
Substantial experience in managing diverse teams in a highly regulated environment
Demonstrated experience in the analysis of business practices to identify sustainable strategic efficiencies
Significant practical experience in successfully establishing and implementing change management strategies
This is a Senior Executive Officer (SEO) role in accordance with the Campaspe Shire Council Enterprise Agreement 2019.
