To secure this role we require a professional with experience on the Production floor, within a manufacturing environment.
You will be responsible for work flow production efficiencies for your department and the assignment of tasks. Continuous improvement, overseeing WHS compliance, Induction and training is also part of this role.
We are looking for an individual that shows initiative, who is aware of their working environment, with the ability to anticipate and proactively see issues to rectify, before they are an impact to the business.
You will be required to comply with processes relating to Startups and Shutdowns, collect data from the floor which will translate to cost savings and manage production staff to achieve productive outcomes.
It is expected that you enjoy being 'hands on' and will be flexible to work on the line when required. Your eye for detail will be utilise as you identify QA issues relating to product and the performing of tasks..
Solid communication skills are expected to be successful in this role, computer literacy would be an advantage. A Forklift licence would be well regarded, as would First Aid and Fire Warden exposure, but these are not essential.
