AT LEAST 1 YEAR OF MARKETING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.

SOCIAL MEDIA AND MARKETING SKILLS ESPECIALLY IN INSTAGRAM AND IG/FB ADS REQUIRED

CAREER PROGRESSION TO FULL-TIME ROLE AND SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER POSSIBLE.

Do you have experience in people management, project management and client management Do you love working with clients, in the cafe and restaurant industry with a passion for great food or love social media Well a great role has just opened up in Sydneys leading hospitality marketing Agency ( CPM ONLINE MARKETING ) with a vision to elevate Sydneys food scene! You will be helping many of Sydneys great cafes and restaurants grow their brands and customer base and be on the cutting edge of social media marketing.


THE ROLE

As a junior Social Media Manager your role will be to be take care of several social media accounts. Use online marketing (mainly via Instagram, facebook, influencers and digital food PR) across various social media channels.

This is the perfect opportunity to express your passion for food and social media in a fantastic role. You will be working with a small, passionate and growing band of social media marketers in a fun collaborative environment.



BASIC SKILLS NEEDED

Organisational skills are a must.
Be able to work with multiple clients via messages and emails.

Copywriting, caption writing skills.

Perfect English, with good spelling and grammar is a must as you will be doing a lot of writing

A visual eye for arranging content on social media feeds

Knowledge of how to use Instagram and Facebook for posting content

Knowing how to place Facebook and Instagram ads via Facebook Ads manager highly desirable.

some knowledge about the food scene in Sydney and a passion for eating out is highly desireable.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Arranging content from our photographers & caption writers for instagram & FB posts for clients

Managing daily communications with clients under your care via whats app or sms. On boarding new clients at the beginning and running them through the CPM contract for the next 3 months.

Setting up FB manager for new clients so we can place ads, then placing Facebook ads for clients on a weekly basis.

Occasional Email marketing for clients via Mailchimp

Setting up Google Business pages for Clients

Social media reports ( Filling in template for clients at the end of 3 month contracts)

 



SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

The successful candidate will have at least a 1 years work experience in a similar role with a proven track record of success. Preferably in a similar agency role or with some work experience in marketing. Strong organisational skills are the main prerequisite. You must have good people management skills - both internal with the team and external, being able to talk to clients face to face over the phone and via Whatsapp.

A good eye for design and imagery on Social Media is a big plus as you will be arranging a lot of food photos!

Your multitasking and project management skills must be strong as you will be managing many clients under you with several areas of responsibility in a fast paced environment.

Be a team player, adaptable, a quick learner and not afraid of a challenge. We are after a results driven player! Above all a keen desire to find solutions and overcome any challenges.

Google Calender

Cloud based project management software (Asana or similar)

Whats app messaging for communication.


Email campaign software like Mailchimp or Myguestlist

Facebook Ads manager

Canva ( preferable but not essential)
