Dingo Australia is the home of Australias original and best mini-digger and attachments. Due to our expansion and growth within the business, we are looking for a dynamic and well organised Inventory Controller who is ready to be challenged with a great opportunity to be part of our growing manufacturing business.
Working closely with our Senior Management Team, this role will take on key responsibilities including:
Organising and maintaining stock levels in our inventory system
Manage and co-ordinate inventory processes, systems and procedures.
Identify inventory discrepancies, conduct investigations including root cause analysis and recommend and implement change.
Manage annual, cyclical and ad-hoc stock taking processes including the provision of timely reports.
Standardisation of processes and systems across the site to ensure day to day inventory control operations are managed consistently, efficiently and effectively.
Help with the analysing of inventory to identify fast and slow moving stock.
Make recommendations for reclassifying inventory and implement if approved.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Experience in inventory role and previous management and operation of inventory systems, procedures and operational practices.
Experience in planning, execution and management of cyclical and annual stock takes.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills to populate and manipulate data, excellent reporting skills
Capability of dealing with pressured scenarios in a calm and systematic manner
Actively seeks to work cooperatively with peers and work as part of a team Possess strong communication across all levels, analytical and problem solving skills
