Manage Commercial & Liquid Waste accounts
Service existing Tier 1 customer accounts and maintain long-term customer relationships.
Build a customer base by meeting with potential clients and educating them on the benefits of our products
Respond to all inquiries, cancellation requests, and sales requests within specified time-frame
Manage, update and maintain client information in the company database
Perform collection activities as required
Participate in continued education to learn about new products and improve sales techniques
Provide regular updates to the Key Account & Business Development Manager (Commercial & Industrial Waste) informing activity and results, daily calls, weekly work plans, and monthly/annual territory analysis
Create new business opportunities by obtaining orders, establish new accounts by planning and organising daily work schedules to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors, visit customers, deliver proposals etc.
Maintain a professional continuous improvement focus, researching industry best practice, attending trade shows and industry events to stay up to date with current trends and future opportunities.
Attend your accounts Monthly meetings & take minutes, file and distribute.
Attend Company Sales Meetings and Account Management Weekly meetings
What you bring
Relevant qualifications and/or prior sales or Key Account Management experience
Experience in the Waste Management Industry or similar.
Demonstrated knowledge of recycling practices and procedures preferred
Working knowledge of Building and Construction industry preferred
Intermediate-Advanced Excel and Microsoft Suite skills
Exceptional relationship building skills
Strong time management skills and attention to detail
Ability to work autonomously and be self-motivated and driven
