Most of the job ads on here are pretty lame and to be honest so are most of the applications we see.

The real info you need is that the Business Owner is a hard-working Director/Financial Planner that needs someone that he likes and trusts to work alongside him to serve the fantastic client base of the business. There will be significant client contact and responsibility for co-managing client relationships. You will also have the opportunity to develop into the role of Senior Adviser and beyond.

We believe in being honest and whilst Aaron (The Director), like all of us, is not perfect he does really care about his family, his team and his clients. He wants someone to help free him to work on the business and in more complicated advice scenarios. This is a multi-generational Advice firm that is setting a new standard for the future of great advice and client experience. 

Do you want to work for a practice that thinks and acts differently The Business Owner wants to have great clients looked after by great staff who enjoy what they do and love coming to work.

You will need to be technically astute and like organising and coordinating details and clients to help to bring the Advice strategies and process together.

You will be surrounded by a great team and have assistance in taking care of all aspects of Advice preparation and delivery. That being said, it would be highly valued if you have experience and understanding of Advice lodgement, SOA construction etc.

This is the perfect role for someone who really wants to be client focused, who has the self motivation to handle speaking to clients day in and day out and wants a place to learn and grow into the position of being an exceptional Adviser.


Things we need

  • You need to know what you are doing (Hold an Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning) or equivalent, and preferably already hold an authority to give advice.

  • Be able to manage yourself, your emotions and your energy. Great Advisers seek to be masters of themselves, so that they can do more for their clients.

  • Experience in dealing with nice clients and staff members and be able to be nice back to our clients.

  • Like taking control of your own workloads.

  • You must be able to work independently and be self-motivated and not be reliant on hand holding or other people to motivate you.  

  • Like to get things done and done correctly.

  • Be honest about who you are and what you want out of life and out of work so we can have an honest relationship together.
