THE OPPORTUNITY

An opportunity has presented for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and customer focused individual to join our Jem Health team in the role of Receptionist / Bookings and Customer Service Officer. We are open to applicants looking for full time or permanent part time work in our Belmont, Osborne Park and / or Jandakot offices. 

 

The Jem Health Receptionist / Bookings and Customer Service Officer.will be responsible the following key areas of responsibility (not limited to):

  • Provide exceptional customer service and first-point of contact for all stakeholders in person and via phone

  • Use of telephone, email and booking software to scheduling client appointments

  • Maintain records and files to a high standard including preparation of client files/paperwork, filing/archiving and data entry for accounts.

  • General office and administration including use/maintenance of a range of equipment

  • Specimen collection and supervision of drug and alcohol testing 

  • High level compliance and observation of privacy act

 

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT

ESSENTIAL

  • Demonstrated excellence in customer service

  • Proficient computer skills - Microsoft Office Suite, Multiple Screens and Medical Booking Systems 

  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use and management of office equipment/technology photocopying, scanning, emailing, phone systems faxing, filing etc

  • Exceptional communication skills 

  • High standard or presentation

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise and use initiative

  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement

  • Demonstrate a positive work ethic

  • Training/accreditation (or willingness to complete training) in the delivery of Drug and Alcohol Testing

  • Reside in Perth with right to work in Australia

  • Current National Police Check

 

DESIRABLE

  • Previous work experience within Occupational Health/Pre-Employment Medical industry would be an advantage (not essential)

  • Completion of formal medical secretarial training (i.e. Medical Secretarial Practices Course) or equivalent highly regarded (not essential)
