Due to the rapid growth of our company we are seeking an experienced Financial Accounting Manager to join our team. Such position is available for a passionate, creative and motivated individual.

 

The responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Prepare monthly management reports in an accurate and timely manner
  • Ownership and responsibility for the output of the financial reporting and operations for the whole Group, Executive team and other elements of governance as the role grows
  • Manage workflow of the accounting team including training schedule
  • Oversee the team in producing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, trust account and reconciliations
  • Cash-flow forecasting and budgeting
  • Prepare fund management planning, policies and procedures
  • Process review and then development and implementation where required to ensure best practice is in place. 
  • System improvement and implementation where necessary across the function to ensure efficiency
  • Prepare company budgeting
  • Statutory return and corporate compliance
  • Prepare TAX, BAS, FBT return, annual accounts, the key point of contact for auditors within the set deadlines
  • Pro-active management of the team to engage, upskill, mentor and develop a high-performance culture
  • Manage the audit relationship with support from your team
  • Ad-hoc accounting related tasks

 

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • 12-15 years' inhouse accounting experience in a similar role (previous experience working in a high-volume mid-to-large business is preferable)
  • Industry experience in Construction will be a bonus
  • Fund Management experience required
  • Tertiary degree in related major or above
  • CA/CPA Qualified
  • Proven experience in staff management, coaching, mentoring and leadership is essential
  • Strong time management skills and eye-for-details
  • Extensive knowledge of MYOB, ELMO and other accounting software
  • Ability to work as a team or autonomously
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude and ability to work under pressure
