Due to business growth in the region we are seeking an Administration Assistant to join our team based at our Whyalla regional office. There will also be opportunity to work on-site at projects in the Whyalla - Port Augusta region.
The varied role will involve data entry of payroll timesheets, updating spreadsheets, assisting in organising travel and local accommodation, and assistance with general administration and document control. You will work closely with the Senior Administrator to ensure high quality administration support is provided to the projects in the region as well as the trades team at the regional workshop.
There is the opportunity to undertake a Traineeship and obtain a nationally recognised Certificate III Business Administration, subject to meeting the eligibility criteria.
You must possess the following:
Computer literacy, intermediate skill level in MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
Good data entry speed and accuracy.
Attention to detail and ability to reconcile errors.
Initiative and good work ethic.
Confident telephone manner and ability to communicate well with a wide range of people.
Able to work in a calm, organised manner in fast paced work environment.
SACE Y12 minimum.
Previous experience in an administration role preferred but not essential.
