Administration Officer

Role Located: TULLY, FNQ, Permanent Full Time.

About the Company

Mackays Group is a well-established farming group with farms located in Tully, Lakeland and Bundaberg.

This Administration Officer role will be located on the Mackays Mullins Road farm, Tully. The successful candidate will be diligent, motivated and enthusiastic.

Main Responsibilities

  • Answer phone calls and be a central point for enquires daily
  • Reviewing and acting on correspondence
  • Ensure all load paperwork is completed accurately and timely
  • Work with Shed Manager to ensure packing records are maintained
  • Ensure fuel register is up to date
  • Complete end of week reporting
  • Action time and attendance daily with any discrepancies investigated
  • Order of stock such as stationary, cleaning items, first aid, farm equipment etc

This role will also include ad hoc duties such as cleaning and assisting in the packing shed were necessary (assisting with lidding and sorting of fruit).

Skill Requirements

  • Previous administration experience advantageous 
  • Effective communication skills
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Good organisation skills and ability to prioritise
  • Drivers Licence highly desirable
