Pre-Sales Consultant

Protecht Group are seeking a Pre-Sales Consultant to join their Sales Team. This role will report directly to the Global Head of Sales and provide a Pre-Sales function to the Global team. This is a Sales focused role that would be suited to a tech-savvy individual with great language and communication skills someone who is at home with tech/systems and can understand a client situation from their side to help build solutions.

About the role

As the Pre-sales Consultant you will work within the Business Development team. The role provides specialised assistance to help the sales process by developing client strategies (research, pre-builds, reports, sales decks) as well as client follow up activities (proposals, sandpits, additional demos).

Some of the role responsibilities include:

  • Provide support to the business development team with subject matter expertise in enterprise risk, compliance management and/or WHS
  • Undertake subject matter research into new risk domains and assist in developing the sales approach
  • ERM system expertise and management to be able to provide system demonstrations and public webinars
  • Support the BDMs with follow up customer activities and sales support to help facilitate the onboarding of customers
  • Support the Business Development & Marketing teams for external conferences and events
  • Maintain close working relationships with internal teams to help facilitate business development outcomes
  • Qualify business requirements for any enhancements
  • Quotations for enhancement or upgrades for current customers.
  • and Drive and manage RFP/RFI and POC activities for the team.
  • Maintain the CRM system
  • Lead development for the Sales team.

Experience

  • 5+ years experience in areas that could include:
    • Risk/compliance management, or
    • WHS risk management, or
    • Technology platforms, or
    • SaaS / Cloud
  • Experience writing very high-quality customer proposals and/or RFPs
  • Demonstrable experience dealing with B2B customers over longer sales cycles
