Marketing Coordinator - Pharmacy Lynx - Immediate Start!

Working in a fast-paced retail environment, this role will be responsible for overseeing the marketing department. Through coordination and execution of a wide variety of campaigns, utilising both traditional and digital advertising vehicles, to develop short- and long-term marketing strategies, whilst working in collaboration with the Retail team and Operations Manager. 

This role would be suitable for a junior level professional. 

The successful candidate must be motivated by brand building exercises to increase awareness and sales growth!

Key Responsibilities

  • Attain 90-day Marketing plan(s) in line with business requirements
  • Develop and drive marketing strategies to maximize sales
  • Create marketing proposals for key projects 
  • Plan and execute advertising campaigns and in-store promotions
  • Design and deliver effective marketing collateral and content for digital and print
  • Grow brand presence through social media and electronic direct mail
  • Work closely with Centre Management to drive marketing initiatives 
  • Development and maintenance of customer databases
  • Drive and coordinate loyalty programs  
  • Create business plans for supplier advertising support and co-op dollars
  • Develop graphics and design for monthly catalogues
  • Website maintenance and management
  • Profile development and assessment of key consumer patterns
  • Branding and store/retail compliance requirements
  • Develop effective cross marketing across industries

Personal Skills & Attributes

  • Proven 2-3 years experience in Marketing field 
  • Completed Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a similar field
  • Strong knowledge and awareness of retail trends 
  • Commercially savvy and return driven
  • Ability to build favourable relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to work under minimal direction and take initiative
  • Experience in application of Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator)
  • Experience in design for print and design for online is essential
  • Retail or pharmacy experience would be advantageous
  • Execution and outcome focused 
  • Ability to interpret and analyse data
  • Abreast with consumer trends and the best practice sales tactics


This is a Part-Time role based on 20 hours per week. Must be available to work 4 consecutive days. There is flexibility around this.

Salary ranging from $55-$65K pro rata + Super, based on experience.
