OFI has a great opportunity for an experienced Sales Professional to join our fantastic team.   Experience in high-end Industrial Equipment sales would be great, however we believe that attitude is everything.

This is an opportunity to join a growing company that design and manufacture industrial inspection solutions, such as Checkweighers, Metal Detectors and X-ray systems for various industries in Australia, primarily the food and FMCG sectors. As a key member of our Sales team you will be working alongside the Managing Director, in what is a very supportive team environment.  The successful applicant will enjoy a good working environment, competitive salary package depending on experience and skill-set, and have creative freedom to own the role.

To be successful in the role you would ideally have:

  • A positive attitude, with the personality to work with a small, but growing team of likeminded people
  • Experience in selling into the Packaging, Production or FMCG industry
  • Experience achieving sales targets and developing sales opportunities
  • Persistence.  Our equipment is high-end so sales cycles can be long
  • Excellent customer service skills.  Our customers expect the best and we deliver
  • Excellent commercial business acumen and negotiation skills
  • The ability to develop new and existing relationships with customers
  • The desire to work in a dynamic environment
  • Strong work ethic
  • Good time management skills
  • Ability and willingness to learn and expand the role through training and dedication

Here is what your day will entail:

  • New Business visiting new clients and assisting them with selection of industrial weighing and inspection solutions
  • Calling on our existing clients in Victoria (and interstate from time to time) to develop relationships and provide feedback for sales and service.
  • Responsible for the achievement of sales targets and business development across our product range.
  • Weekly and monthly reporting on sales progress
  • Managing sales and developing CRM and processes through to completion.
  • Develop Weekly, Monthly, Yearly strategies to meet agreed targets, including territory planning
  • Provide target lists and action plans for all customers in the portfolio
  • Manage regular mailchimp marketing campaigns and follow ups
