Service Manager Eastern Region
Ahern Australia, is seeking to appoint a Eastern Region Service Manager to lead a service and parts team located out of their Wetherill Park operation.
The Eastern Region Service Manager is responsible for the overall operational management of the region's After Sales Department incorporating Workshop, Field Service and Parts Sales throughout NSW and ACT.
The successful applicant requires:
Aftersales business development experience
Experience in service and parts operations and supervising service teams
Excellent technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
Understanding of customer expectations and ability to effectively communicate with customers
Leadership ability to motivate and drive a team toward performance measures
Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements

Duties & Responsibilities include:
Accountability for revenue, profitability, quality assurance, compliance management, processes/procedures/equipment management, customer feedback and relationship management;
Identification and provision of learning and development opportunities for staff and ensure training needs are met;
Review, recommend and implement operational improvements to ensure efficient operations; and participation in retention, recruitment and selection activities.
Ensure that planning schedules are effectively communicated and implemented throughout the service teams
Monitor and analyse workshop & field service performance and report on the effectiveness of company strategies to senior management
Conduct quality assessments of technicians work, conduct & presentation
Liaise with customers and develop service relationships to encourage repeat and new business opportunities
Conduct performance reviews in accordance with Ahern Performance Development Plan procedures & keep management informed. Ensure regulatory/safety/quality procedures are followed
Experience in service operations, supervising service teams and mechanical qualifications are mandatory as well as an in depth Knowledge of Elevated Work Platforms and Telescopic Handlers .
