Gewrzhaus Herb & Spice Merchants is a unique and expanding Melbourne-grown retailer with eight, soon to be nine stores nationally and we are looking for talented people to join our team. We mill and blend over 100 bespoke spice, salt, sugar and tea blends for our self-scoop concept stores, supported by high quality homewares crafted predominately in Europe and America as well as one off vintage items. The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced, savvy and passionate E-commerce Coordinator to join the marketing team to drive our online business to the next level. A true interest in cooking and food is a must.

The Role:

In this role, you will have the ability to hit the ground running and:

  • Provide daily analysis of campaigns identifying areas of opportunity to improve performance of campaigns and maximise return on ad spend to achieve budgeted sales targets
  • Manage day-to-day website content including homepage, product pages, recipe pages, promotions, navigation and other on-site content
  • Ensure product and content is accurately represented, strategically merchandised and optimised to improve conversion rate and customer journey
  • Coordinate and execute the email marketing strategy and analyse performance
  • Develop and continually improve the online SEO strategy to drive organic website traffic
  • Ensure online content is on-brand and always with the user experience in mind

 

What were looking for:

  • 2 years + experience working in a digital or e-commerce marketing role
  • Experience with SEO
  • A solid understanding of Google Analytics
  • Basic understanding of marketing channels preferable (paid search, paid social, re-targeting, affiliate marketing)
  • Experience in database segmentation, email automation and campaign coordination in Klaviyo or similar email marketing software
  • Previous experience working with graphic designers / front-end developers / digital marketing agencies
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise and manage conflicting priorities
