Client

Our client is a boutique credit lender that provides lending solutions across residential and commercial properties.

You will be managing a portfolio of borrower accounts that are experiencing problems with making their payments, identifying the reasons why they are unable to pay, and collaborating with other teams within the organisation to resolve the customer’s issues.

The expectation will be to provide exceptional customer service and to ensure that high standards are maintained in dealing with borrowers, investors and professionals, ensuring that the best possible outcome is achieved for all parties concerned.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate filing and management of all loan communications and the timely issuance of payment reminders and notices.
  • Identify borrowers that are experiencing financial difficulties and ensure that appropriate assistance is provided in a timely and legally compliant manner
  • Identify accounts that require Legal Default Notices and ensure that these are issued promptly with accuracy in accordance with legislation and arrears management procedures and guidelines
  • Follow up all dishonoured payments, communicating the issue to the customer in a timely manner
  • Consistently follow proven arrears management procedures and guidelines
  • Ensure prompt, open communication is maintained with borrowers, solicitors, mortgage insurers and other third parties

Qualifications:

  • Experience working within financial services and in dealing with mortgage collections and/or lending administration;
  • Strong customer service experience with the ability to balance empathy and understanding with resilience;
  • Impeccable attention to detail and organisational skills;
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively; and
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Office and Outlook).
