Account Executive

The Company:

Established in 1956 Temperzone is a leading manufacturer and distributer of commercial and domestic air conditioning systems throughout Australia, New Zealand, and South-East Asia.

The Role:

With a well-established presence in Australia, Temperzone/Hitachi are undergoing a significant growth phase and are now seeking an exceptional person to be part of this exciting opportunity.

Reporting to the State Manager, this role encompasses both our unique brand offerings of Temperzone and Hitachi to the Victorian market dealing with our trade, contractor, consultant, and commercial builder markets.

Identifying prospective new business opportunities, forming, and maintaining our network are all part of the daily role, we can guarantee no two days will be the same.

What we are looking for:

  • Act as the internal and external champion for Temperzone and Hitachi products
  • Establish, develop, and manage existing relationships with key dealers and specialist partners
  • Implement & develop sales plans
  • Coordinate marketing strategies for defined key accounts
  • Manage specialist dealers pricing structure for competitiveness
  • Analyse existing/potential customer needs
  • Present, promote and sell products/services to existing and prospective customers
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets, budgets, margins, and product budget within schedule
  • Provide high level of customer service across all functions
  • Keep abreast of best practices in market and communicate trends back to the business

To be successful, the ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • 3 + years of local experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrable proof of strategic account & territory management
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
  • Proven ability to build and maintain positive, professional key relationships with clients.
  • Possess a flair for client communications and understanding of consumer behaviour
  • Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
  • A good knowledge of current technology trends & the Aust / International competitive landscape
  • Proven willingness to learn and improve
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
