Administrative Support Officer - Medical Workforce Unit

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Administrative Support Officer to assist in our Medical Workforce Unit. The successful applicant with be required to work part time, 60 hours per fortnight for 12 months.

This role will primarily support in the management of the medical workforce of SWH by providing assistance in the overall coordination of junior and senior doctors under the guidance of the Manager Medical Workforce.

What you bring

As an Administrative Support Officer you will have developed experience and skills in administrative office management, effective communication, documentation presentation, and problem solving and computer skills.  An ability to interact with all staff across SWH, the general public and external organisations in a professional manner and understanding work priorities and meeting deadlines is also essential for the role. Knowledge of medical terminology would be desirable but not essential.

Employment Terms and Conditions will be in line with the Victorian Public Health Sector (Health and Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Workers) Single Interest Enterprise Agreement 2016-2020,with the appropriate classification Administration Grade 1A.
