Business Development Manager B2B

We are currently seeking an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive the Victorian Sales growth. This position will work closely with Team Leaders to strategically develop and build new business relationships including some existing client development to drive growth in line with the Company's vision and strategy.


About the role

This is a B2B customer facing role and requires substantial interaction with key clients.

 An overview of the key responsibilities will include;

  • Proactively build and maintain a strong pipeline and productive network of existing and new client relationships
  • Develop and implement strategies to gain new clients, ensuring alignment to company procedures for retention and commercial performance
  • Identify opportunities to deliver superior solutions to clients, whilst proactively up-selling products and services
  • Well honed proposal and bid writing skills for submission and responses on market based expressions of interest and tender responses
  • Conduct regular reviews and maintain a core understanding of each client's business and needs
  • Report on current market trends and opportunities, recommending service and product enhancements
  • Have strong people and leadership skills internal and external parties
  • Cultivate and develop relationships with key stakeholders within the target market
  • Drive the sales and negotiation process, pitching the required solutions and closing the deal
  • Communicate effectively at all levels and demonstrate personal integrity and professional courtesy in all dealings with colleagues and clients


Skills and experience


What you will bring;

  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in B2B transactions, preferably within the property sector
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills
  • Ability to negotiate positive outcomes for all stakeholders
  • Excellent time management and planning skills
  • Self motivated, fast learning, team player
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
