Head of Marketing

Our client, a leading bank with an enviable reputation in the marketplace, has an outstanding opportunity for a Marketing executive to lead a talented team. Reporting to the Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, the purpose of this position is to develop a brand-aligned marketing strategy and lead a team in the delivery of multi-channel, innovative marketing initiatives.

To be successful you will have

  • Demonstrated experience, gained preferably within banking, leading the development and delivery of cohesive, strategic, and brand-appropriate marketing plans formulated to align with business goals.
  • You will possess sound budgeting skills and the ability to invest appropriately to enable marketing innovation.
  • You will lead the development and implementation of digital marketing solutions, lead and monitor the creation of marketing content, liaise with Corporate Affairs and CSR Specialists to ensure the brand value is maintained and high levels of customer satisfaction are delivered at all times.  
  • A proven understanding of content-led, inbound marketing methodology
  • Fantastic project management and time management skills
  • The ability to take on feedback
  • Data-driven decision-making frame
  • The ability to effectively work with multiple stakeholders and drive outcomes 

Naturally, you will have exceptional communication skills, the ability to build effective relationships to C level and the ability to lead effective, cohesive teams.
