About the role

With new and exciting projects on the horizon, we are expanding our team once again with a unique opportunity for a Senior Architect to join our vibrant Melbourne studio.  We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated architect to contribute and lead a variety of exciting projects through all phases including Feasibility, Sketch Design, Town Planning, Construction Documentation, Construction Services and Contract Administration. 

The right candidate will be a registered senior architect with credible experience in all aspects of project delivery. You have a passion for design and a positive and professional attitude.  As a self-driven and independent worker, you will confidently lead projects, communicate effectively with clients and consultants and provide guidance to team members.  You will actively seek to develop skills through attendance and participation in learning events including training and briefing sessions run by the practice and completing necessary requirements to maintain registration with the Architects Board.

Skills and experience

  • A recognised architectural degree and current practicing registration as an Architect
  • Demonstrated post registration experience across all project stages from inception to completion
  • Proven track record in at least one of the following sectors: multi-residential, commercial, aged care, hospitality or retail
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup and Adobe Creative Suite
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of planning schemes and building regulations
  • Excellent communication and people management skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Detail orientation
  • The ability to engage and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders across all levels
