About the role

With new and exciting projects on the horizon, we are expanding our team once again with a unique opportunity for a superstar Senior Interior Designer to join our vibrant Melbourne studio. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Interior Designer to contribute to and lead a variety of exciting projects through all phases including Feasibility, Sketch Design, Town Planning, Construction Documentation and Construction Services. 

The right candidate will hold an Interior Design degree with credible experience in all aspects of project delivery. You have a passion for design and a positive and professional attitude.  A strong design ability with a balance of creative, technical and people skills is beneficial. As a self-driven and independent worker, you will confidently lead projects, communicate effectively with clients and consultants, and provide guidance to team members.  You will actively seek to develop skills through attendance and participation in learning events including training and briefing sessions run by the practice and other learning opportunities. The role offers the opportunity to work across a variety of exciting projects including retail, hospitality, workplace, private and multi-residential.

Skills and experience

  • Demonstrated extensive experience across a range of projects with proven experience in multi-residential projects across all phases
  • Expertise within the retail and hospitality sectors is advantageous
  • Outstanding design and presentation skills which can be translated through Sketch Design, Design Development and Construction Documentation packages
  • Highly proficient in preparation of all Interior Design documentation, leading tender processes, on-site construction services and providing direction to junior team members
  • Ability to confidently manage and contribute to multiple projects at one time, including client deliverables and timelines
  • Exceptional ability to engage and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders across all levels
  • Excellent communication and people management skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Detail orientated, with excellent technical, construction and regulatory knowledge
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup and Adobe Creative Suite
