Be part of a friendly and supportive team of this expanding practice based in Neutral Bay. This longstanding practice is looking for a professional, organised and vibrant person to join our reception and support team. You will work with dedicated doctors and other health professionals to deliver high quality services to our patients. Applicants must have a high level of customer service skills and the ability to work in a very busy, fast paced, multi-tasking role.
Previous experience working in a medical practice is essential. Proficiency in Best Practice Software or similar preferred. This front desk and support role includes:
Delivering exceptional customer service, answering phones, meeting and greeting patients
Scheduling and effective management of all patient appointments
Maintaining all patient appointments, accounts and correspondence efficiently and accurately
Providing information and answering enquiries from patients and outside callers
General admin duties, daily tasks including faxing, scanning, ordering and restocking
Be responsive to doctor and Allied Health staff requests
Opening or closing the practice
The role is a busy one and requires a high level of self-direction and ability to work autonomously. To be successful in this position you will need to have good people management skills, excellent telephone manner, good computer skills and demonstrate initiative. A focus on timely outcomes and exceptional organisational skills are also a must.
The opportunity to move into a Senior Receptionist role is available to the appropriate candidate. This is a full time position from Monday to Friday, to start as soon as possible.
