FULL-TIME Accounts Clerk

We are an established organisation located in Guildford. We are looking for a star to support Administrative and Production team.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, have an eye for detail, be able to manage multiple entities/tasks.  Well presented, reliable, responsible with strong written & verbal communication skills with a can-do natured attitude working in a team environment.

Duties will include but not limited to:

  • Entering Invoices sales & purchasers
  • Communicating phone and email with customers and suppliers
  • Maintaining, handling, filing of accounts records electronically and in paper format
  • Assist Managers with adhoc duties
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Contacting Customers Receivables
  • Assisting Bookkeeper with various Month end and Year end responsibilities
  • Data entry in MYOB
  • Managing AP and AR email inbox
  • Monthly Credit Card reconciliation
  • Weekly Bank Reconciliation
  • Assist in Payroll - keeping of Employee timesheets
  • Ability to assist Apprentices with training organisation

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in MYOB Accountright
  • Intermediate to Advance Excel Spreadsheet and MS Software
  • Excellent English Grammar written and verbal
  • Able to work in a team environment
  • Comply with general office policies and procedures
  • Excellent phone manners and Business etiquette
  • Clear understanding of accounting rules, principles and chart of accounts
  • Own vehicle (not essential) public transport nearby
  • Full-Time Mon-Fri 8:30am 5pm

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Certificate qualification from TAFE
  • 1 Year experience in an Accounts Office position
