We have multiple upcoming roles within the South Australian Government. Our client is looking for people that have experience working in disability services and/or the complaints sector.
The successful applicant MUST;
Be an Australian citizenship
Be willing to undergo an Australian Federal Police check
be willing and eligible to obtain a security clearance
Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:
Support the training and education function in identifying incidents and neglect of people with disability
Manage a caseload of incidents reported to the Commission by providers
Engage with providers on incidents (including deaths)
Escalating incidents for investigation where necessary
Analysis of information during reportable incident process to advise on trends and any concerns raised
Ensure high-risk complaints are escalated to be dealt with expeditiously
Develop productive working relationships with a range of stakeholders to facilitate the work of the reportable incidents handling function, and the Commission more broadly.
Liaise regularly with managers as to the management of caseload.
Regulatory, compliance and analytical experience
An understanding of the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework and the NDIS Act.
Lived experience of disability or demonstrated understanding of disability services in a State or Territory Government context would be an advantage
Relevant tertiary qualifications
Strong customer service focus
Exceptional communication skills
