This companys products are second to none and they undertake to solve issues on their clients mine including, transport and infrastructure improvements such as unsealed mine access, haul roads, rail extensions and slopes and walls. Underground they provide rib and roof support, roads, portals entrances and sediment ponds, the list is extensive. Containment lining solutions, dams, leaks, there is nothing beyond their products capability or their evolving and rigorously tested technology.  Together you could be solving our clients customers complicated problems by combining your networks and experience in mining with their leading research and development.

About Your Potential New Role

This critical leadership position is based within the Perth office in Western Australia and is available because of a restructure. The key to your success will be to grow the business by focusing on implementing and driving sales plans in order to increase existing business and grow new opportunities. This is an integral business development role which will see you preparing proposals and presenting to senior mine staff. You will be well supported with strategic analysis and solutions provision and will working closely with key stakeholders in our clients business.
 

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans
  • Define and execute customer engagement plans for key customers
  • Proactively develop customer relationships
  • Work closely with our clients broader sales teams within Australia to realise opportunities in your local market
  • Analyse market activities, monitor competitor products and services, and also manage sales and marketing operating budgets.


 About You
 

  • Tertiary qualified preferably in Engineering or a mine related discipline and with extensive senior sales experience
  • A successful career in sales within a complex technical organisation.
  • High level of interpersonal, organisation and verbal communication skills
  • Worked with KPIs, networking and proposals specifically in mining
  • An understanding of high level problem solving on mine-sites and working with key stakeholders to achieve outcomes
  • Strong negotiation skills and sound commercial acumen, experience managing budgets and long term work pipelines is essential
  • You are extremely self-motivated and very outcomes focused. You build exceptional relationships with your mining customers and you are passionate about delivering great results as part of a large business.
