The Role: 

As a Digital Designer at Voyance Insights, you'll use your extensive experience in digital design to produce dynamic, high-quality and creative content across a variety of digital platforms and channels, everything from social media, EDMs, online advertising, website and more. As an exceptional visual communicator, your skills across all forms of digital will allow you to hit the ground running, working with a broad range of clients, understanding their brand and vision and working your magic to bring them to life online.

This is a part-time position (2 - 3 days per week), with the potential to move to full-time work in the future.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Designing and executing outstanding concepts.
     
  • Designing marketing materials for specific audiences or purposes, creating innovative and engaging results within the scope of corporate identity and brand guidelines.
     
  • Websites - designing bespoke concepts, following through to internal pages, mobile layouts, interaction design and liaising with web developers.
     
  • Display ads - concept and storyboard design with awareness of file restrictions. Roll out of storyboards for all ad sizes, packaging for the animator and reviewing the animations.
     
  • Social ads and content - design and production with good awareness of best practices for the platform.
     
  • EDMs - conceptualising, designing and developing engaging content. 
     
  • Presenting designs and ideas to senior stakeholders and gathering, processing and actioning feedback from across the business.


Who We're Looking For:

We're looking for an experienced digital designer with an impressive portfolio to help us take our digital design offering to the next level. Someone with at least two years of experience in a similar role, a great sense of humour, outstanding work ethic and a can-do attitude.


Essential Skills & Experience: 

  • Tertiary degree or diploma in Visual Communications Design, Digital Media Design, Interactive Media Design, Multimedia or similar.

  • At least two years experience in a similar role.

  • Highly developed digital design skills and a portfolio to match.

  • An eagle eye for technical and design detail.

  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team, as well as the confidence to work in a small team where transparency is a given.

  • The ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities. 

  • Strong proficiency with the Adobe Creative suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects) and Motion Design.

  • Creative and diligent copy writing skills. 

  • Demonstrated experience designing digital campaigns that include, but are not limited to, Responsive Web, EDMs, social media posts (paid and organic) and experiential media.

  • Awareness of best practice for design and animation across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, HTML display, animated GIF display, static display and website design. 

  • A high personal standard of work and the strong visual, written and spoken communication skills to back it up.

  • Strong administrative skills including task tracking, version control and time management. 

  • Skilled in working within existing brand guidelines and adapting them for digital platforms.


Desirable Skills & Experience: 

  • Experience working in integrated marketing platforms such as MailChimp.

  • Bonus points for video editing, illustration capabilities and web design skills. 

  • Experience with Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads, AdRoll or YouTube ads.

  • Knowledge of automation and CRM systems.

  • A basic understanding of HTML5, JavaScript and CSS.
