Executive Assistant Central Australia

DUTIES:

  • Prepare and maintain all meeting papers including Central Australia and Barkly General Meetings
  • Maintain COOs calendar by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences and travel
  • Maintain COOs files and archives working pro-actively to develop operational efficiencies
  • Maintain Chamber confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential
  • Ensure the integrity and efficiency of filing systems and meeting discussions
  • Attend all relevant internal and external meetings
  • Assist other staff as required working to ensure the smooth running of the office
  • Required to attend occasional after-hours events
  • Work with the Marketing Officer to effectively deliver and follow up of local Chamber events
  • Support regions with event marketing material and event setup in the database
  • Work with the Marketing Officer to provide content for promotional materials
  • Management of the membership database
  • Carry out all other duties as directed by the Chief Operating Officer

SELECTION CRITERIA

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
  • Advanced level of oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate on a personal basis with a variety of individuals at different levels
  • Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated, take initiative and exercise good judgment
  • Well developed time management and organisational skills
  • High knowledge of the use of relevant Microsoft Office applications
  • Current Northern Territory drivers license
