Business Administrator - Sustainable fashion

The Talent Mill has partnered with an extraordinary business who are pioneering a radical intervention in sustainable fashion.

Who are we The worlds first direct to consumer textile recycling company this pioneering fashion brand is on a mission to generate a radical intervention in the fast fashion industry - to reduce waste in landfill and increase the lifecycle of textiles. Since the launch of their game changing initiative, they have already reversed their impact on landfill.

But they cant do it alone we are now looking to add to their team with a Business Manager.

Whats the role

In this newly created role, your role will enjoy breadth and diversity, work across key projects simultaneously and take the lead in administration and metric reporting for the business. You will work directly with the founders and can have a big impact in a small team and start-up environment.

We are looking for someone who thrives in an innovative environment, is happiest working on multiple projects, and can bring their extraordinary organisation skills to the role. Supporting the CEO on ad-hoc project work, your role will mainly be focused around the day to day administration of this business as they move through some time critical, and brand changing initiatives.

  • Project Management
  • Office Administration 
  • Weekly Reporting on revenue, WIP update on projects, and key reporting metrics
  • Maintenance of database and systems ensuring accurate data integrity
  • Financial reporting
  • Adhoc duties

A little about you:

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who has a strong Administrative background and experience with Xero ideally.  We are flexible with the industry and background of this candidate but a real interest in sustainability would of course be a big plus!

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Well-developed organisational and time management skills
  • Good numerical and analytical skills
  • Clear verbal and written communication style
  • Proficiency with Xero accounting software
  • Work within an environment with conflicting priorities, and adapt working style to meet changing needs
  • Effective management of internal and external relationships and ability to work in a team environment
  • Project Management/Coordination experience would be beneficial
  • Enjoy being hands on, reactive and tactical in solving problems.


This role will be a remote work from home role for the foreseeable future, and we are open to part time employees and full time!
