We are currently searching for a Maintenance and Minor Works Supervisor to support our operations team.
We are looking for someone with previous experience in a team leadership role with an eclectic trade-based skillset.
To be fulfilled in the role you would enjoy helping our clients find solutions to their everyday building maintenance issues. You would be the go to person for our trade teams to develop cost effective and time efficient repairs and improvements to a range of commercial and public spaces from schools to museums and hospitals. You would take pride in your work and seek out innovative preventative maintenance solutions to add value to our client experience.

If you were successful in the role you would enjoy a base salary of $80k pa + super, phone and fuel, in exchange we would expect a candidate that will -
Attend site meetings punctually and well presented
Develop job scopes from client requests with attention to detail around site logistics and safe work methods
Assist estimators with pricing using previous experience and understanding of job processes
Organise and purchase materials with focus on building supplier relationships
Conduct site audits and pre-start meetings to support our core safety values
Troubleshoot on-site technical queries from trades and clients
Manage work costs and scheduling using job management software Aroflo
Identify material requirements, record quantities and profiles
Assist in overall scheduling and resource management
Considerable supervisory experience
Proven trade background (carpentry preferred)
Current Working at Heights Qualification
Demonstrated leadership experience
Strong analytical skills
Construction White/Blue card
Valid C-Class Manual Drivers Licence
Experience with safety documentation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Competence using iPads
Own trade suitable vehicle
Ability to work in a hands-on trade role when required
Trade certificate or equivalent
HRWL EWP or Forklift
MR Drivers Licence
Own basic hand tools
It is important to us that you are fit for work you must be able to supply a National Police Clearance and pass a Pre-employment Medical Check including drugs and alcohol to be considered for the position.
