Asset Construction Hire was established in 2011, and in the nine years since has grown into a company with over 500 elevated work platforms, plus other equipment that supports the Canberra construction industry (and general trades that require working at height). We are an independent and locally owned business based in Fyshwick. We are looking to add an additional sales representative to our expanding team, to cover exciting new product ranges, and source, service and deliver for both new leads and existing customers.
The successful applicant will be an excellent communicator, customer-facing, and responsible for generating a new client-base for small tools (generators, concrete, demolition and other construction equipment) rental and forklifts, to compliment our well-established and growing elevated work platform and general plant-hire team.
The person we are looking for would ideally come from within the hire industry, or be seeking a career change from a hands-on role in construction or manufacturing.
A sound understanding of how to maintain contacts and report on progress, agree and deliver on KPIs, market new rental equipment, and build a revenue stream that adds to the existing business profile is essential. We are looking for someone who can work autonomously in setting business development strategies, and has a clear understanding of how to deliver on our existing high customer service standards.
This position comes with a vehicle during work hours, and full IT support to allow you a mobile presence.
