Senior Education Officer, CPD

Working with the Senior Executive Officer, the Senior Education Officer will lead day-to-day operations of the Colleges Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program and provide mentoring, support and guidance to the team to ensure effective administration and management of CPD.

Your main responsibilities;

  • Preparing monthly and annual reports
  • Developing and leading continuous improvement to CPD processes and programs.
  • Ensuring accurate reporting for the MCNZ MoU
  • Working with the Senior Executive Officer to lead the development, implementation, administration and evaluation of new initiatives in CPD.
  • Supporting the implementation of policy and procedures for the administration of the Colleges CPD programs
  • Providing advice and reports to CPD committees and secretariat support where required
  • Assisting with the development of guidelines and processes for CPD communications
  • Liaising with the New Zealand office in relation to operational aspects of the CPD program
  • Advising, guiding and mentoring CPD unit staff
  • Coordinating and participating in staff training regarding CPD operations
  • Providing a high level of customer service to ensure Fellows are supported to complete their CPD
  • Providing support and guidance to CPD unit staff on complex cases and communications and where necessary, be a point of escalation for such.
  • Coordinating, leading and participating in project and development work in relation to CPD

The successful candidate will have;

  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement and quality assurance
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects
  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis in a process driven environment
  • Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining complex reports
  • High level MS Excel skills
  • Demonstrated Customer service and office experience
  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills
  • High level administrative and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
  • Ability to work flexibly and demonstrate initiative within a team environment
  • Ability to mentor and lead staff
