HSE Administrator

Robson Civil Projects is a leading civil contractor in New South Wales.  We are privately owned, with the financial strength and self-performing capability to deliver projects in the mining, roads, rail, commercial and industrial sectors.


A position is available for an experienced, motivated and appropriately qualified HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) Administrator to join our team working onsite at Muswellbrook, NSW. You will work closely with the HSE team to provide efficient administrative support to ensure compliance with the requirements of the project in line with the objectives of the Company and our Client.  This role is ideal for someone looking to commence or grow their career in Safety Management. Not so sure about this last sentence take it or leave it.


Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide a high standard of professional, accurate and efficient administrative support to the on-site HSE team;
  • Ensure project compliance documentation is maintained to a high level of accuracy on an ongoing basis;
  • Facilitate site inductions and manage all aspects of competency records generated from such inductions;
  • Assist in the creation of project specific documents that address client requirements;
  • Participate in project level audits as required in conjunction with HSE Coordinator on site and;
  • Effectively communicate with all levels of the Project Management Team.


The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience and understanding of civil construction plant and competency requirements;
  • Experience working with safety management systems;
  • Advanced computer literacy skills specifically Microsoft  Excel, Word, and Visio and Adobe PDF;
  • Flexible approach to work with the ability to work autonomously, prioritising work load and adapting to regularly changing demands within time constraints;
  • A positive attitude and outlook within the workplace;
  • The ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with exceptional communication skills (both oral and written) and
  • Current drivers licence and reliable vehicle. 

Formal qualifications, WHS and Training are not essential but will prove to be highly advantageous. As part of our employment process, all employees will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical and ongoing drug and alcohol screening.
